Why EFT Tapping?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a calming, somatic practice shown to:

- Reduce feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout

- Release stress stored in the body from sensory overload or emotional fatigue

By tapping on specific acupressure points while tuning into emotion, EFT helps soothe the nervous system and reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

You will learn a new tapping sequence you can use every day as part of your self-care ritual. It’s a tool you can weave into your daily rhythm. A calming ritual to help you return to yourself, even on the messy, noisy, overstimulating days.

 

What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) - Tapping?

Clinical EFT is a trauma sensitive, mind-body technique used to reduce stress, calm the nervous system and resolve trauma. Often referred to as ‘tapping’, the tool requires the participant to tap on emotional acupressure points around the face and body. Attention is placed on the issue at hand, with mindfulness of the embodied experience, and affirmations of radical acceptance.

Under the guidance of a trained facilitator, Clinical EFT has proven to relieve symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, phobias, pain and cravings. The tool stimulates the vagus nerve and calms the amygdala, promoting relaxation, decreasing resting heart rate, blood pressure, reducing cortisol levels and inflammation, and improving concentration and cognitive function. Best of all, it’s easy to learn and easy to do!

Your facilitator - Ashleigh supports women through burnout, attachment security, and nervous system overwhelm. She uses somatic tools such as EFT tapping to help clients reconnect with themselves, reduce stress and find lasting emotional balance. Her calm and compassionate approach creates a warm space for coregulation and sustainable progress.

Please note as a group session, this is designed to meet with others who understand and empathise with your situation, and who can hold you in that space of corregulation. Some trauma and health conditions can be heavy - and this is not the place to unload onto others. If you feel you need deeper support, a 1:1 is recommended.
